Volume 5 of Serenity Ministries 4 Jesus Christ Playlist

Complete Playlist

1. Even When It Hurts - Hillsong United

Onwards to Volume 5 shall we? I really like this song called "Even When it Hurts" sung here by Hillsong. We will praise God even when we are weak and hurting because he is the great God. Music is powerful people. So much more powerful then we realize. Praise him today! Be blessed.

2. The Heart of Worship - Phillips, Craig, and Dean

This has always been one of my favorite worship songs as far back as I can remember when I first heard it. So often in church we sing our songs, and I have been guilty of it as well, and we just sing along. But how many times do we truly worship him? I pray that we will focus on God and truly worship him every day.

3. Power Of Your Name - Lincoln Brewster

This song by Lincoln Brewster seemed appropriate with all that is going on in the world.

4. Rise - Danny Gokey

My mom has been listening to Danny Gokey a lot lately. This song means a lot for me as it can be a reset type song. I have been going through a lot of changes lately, some good and some bad. One thing that has not changed though is God's purpose for me. I was made to rise. Thank you Jesus!

5. Without You - Ashes Remain

I have a close friend right now who is dealing with depression over a situation he is facing. I won't mention his name for privacy sakes but he knows who he is. I want you to know that I love you man. This song is for you. A dedication to my close friend. ❤️

6. My Life Is In Your Hands - Wendy Mitchell (Lorraine)

This cover is sung by Wendy Mitchell. Someone who used to do great teachings on scripture and the Bible. This song to me means that we do not have to worry about the circumstances we may face because our lives are in his hands. Be blessed today.

7. Let It Happen - Andrea Marie

If this last week of helping out with Vacation Bible School has taught me anything it's to just trust God. I was very nervous in the beginning but once I just let it God and let it happen as God wanted everything went smooth. As the song says: you're full of life, you're full of passion, it's how he made you, just let it happen.

8. Come As You Are - Bob & Heidi Paoletti

To me "come as you are" means no matter how unworthy you think you are or what you have done there is always room for you at the cross. Please wont you come as you are?

9. Make Me Shine - Isaiah 61 One

This is an original song by a close friend of mine, Danny Powell and his band Isaiah 61 One. It is my prayer that he will make me shine in these possible last days. I pray that he will make all of you shine in his wonderful glory.

10. Human - Christina Perri

This song has been on my heart for the last few days. At first I hesitated to add it to my playlist as it is considered a secular song and I try to stick to Christian artists and songs for the playlist. There have been a few exceptions such Creed and a song sung by Aerosmith. I honestly believe though that God can use anything for his good. Remember that we are only human and we make mistakes. Let's learn to love one another as we are all one in him. Blessings.

11. Ain't No Grave - Jamie Wilson

I do love Southern Gospel music and hope some of you do too. I find it amazing that God will lead me to gems like this. I was searching to see what song he would have me add next and saw this one to the right as a suggested for you video and it was perfect. I hope it blesses you.

12. Back To The Garden - Crowder

I stumbled across this song through Napster and really enjoy it. You can really feel the emotion and power in this song and like them I long to get back to the garden. Be blessed!

13. Washed By Blood - Brian Head Welch

One of my exes introduced me to the music of this man. He was a member of the band Korn, left the band to persue Christ and rejoined. Many have criticized him for returning but how can the light shine unless it be in the darkness. I always say who did Christ go to? The sinners and tax collectors. I really love this song and am honored to add it to the ministry playlist. Be blessed family.

14. The Lie - Broken Vessels

This group performed in my hometown yesterday but I unfortunately missed it. I heard they were a blessing though. I found this song on their YouTube Channel. I really enjoy it and will admit that I have bought into the lie that satan tells as well. Praise Jesus he is helping me to believe in the truth. Be blessed family.

15. Reckless Love - Cory Asbury

Lately God has been really revealing his love for me in different way. One of those ways is in making some new friends. You would be surprised how nice it is to just have people check up on you and ask how you are. May we all be used as blessings from God in others lives and may we too show the reckless love of God! Amen!

16. He's Alive - Don Francisco

Just discovered this song on the radio. Very powerful. God bless you this Easter morning!

17. We Are Brave - Shawn McDonald

Sometimes we have to be brave to live life as a Christian and do God's work. We will often face opposition, sometime even from others who claim they are Christians. We must continue steadfast in doing the work we know God has called us to do. So remember my brothers and sisters as you work for the Lord: We Are Brave!

Be blessed family. ❤️

18. Breathe - Jonny Diaz

Life can get extremely busy. You can get stressed out. It's good to just take time to remember to breathe and to relax in Jesus. Be blessed family.

19. Freedom Hymn - Austin French

I just really like this song and its message. We been set free. Amen!

20.  The Happy Song - Don Moen

Some may or may not like. One of my good friends says "I hate the happy song". I can get that i guess but this song brings back memories of the SFA  methodist student center for me and how everyone would have smiles on their faces. I present to you "The Happy Song" by Don Moen...and stay tuned.  I have something very special planned for the Volume 5 Bonus Song. 😊

Bonus: Peace In The Valley - Elvis Presley

I am excited about this one. As i think about the love of Christ i am reminded in Isaiah 11:6 of the verse where the Lion shall lie down with the Lamb. And a very special musical artist that many people are familiar with sang a rendition of a song about just that. I present to you all: "Peace In The Valley" sung by the king himself, Elvis Presley. Love all of you and look for Volume 6 soon.
